About Our Church

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20

Why is church so special to us?

Church is a place where God makes Himself so readily available to us. It is the place that we lift up not only our hands to God, but more importantly, our hearts and prayers. Church is like heaven on earth – a place where God is present, his angels are present, and his saints are present. During our church services, we are blessed to receive many gifts of the Holy Spirit such as baptism and communion. Especially considering that the Coptic Orthodox church is a heavily persecuted church, we are especially thankful for our beloved church.
